This robust spreader boasts an 80-pound capacity hopper constructed from rust-resistant, blue poly, supported by a durable powder-coated steel frame. Crafted in the USA with global materials, this snow and ice management solution ensures reliability and quality. The T-shaped design, featuring rubber grips on the large handle, facilitates easy pushing through snow and over ice, providing a comfortable grip even with gloves on. Front and side baffles enable precise targeting of ice melt, minimizing wastage, while the toothed auger effectively breaks up clumps for smooth flow through the gate opening. Adjust the gate lever to accommodate various particulates, with a recommended usage range including salt, halite, potassium chloride, magnesium chloride, and calcium chloride in small and pelletized forms. Equipped with 12-inch pneumatic, wide-tread tires for traversing uneven terrain, this spreader also includes a rain/snow cover for protection during use. Please note that this product is not suitable for use with rock salt products, sand or sand mixes, pelletized lime, lime, or lime powders. Some assembly is required for optimal functionality
